Brook Cottage Books is thrilled to have Amanda Saint as the Author in the spotlight. Amanda has contributed to an anthology and the book's profits go directly to charity. Lets find out a little bit more about Amanda and that anthology.
Author bio
Amanda Saint is obsessed with words. She
sells them to anyone who will pay in order to make a living and uses them to
write fiction with the rest of the time. Her first novel, As If I Were a River, is currently being edited and an extract has been published in an anthology, Collages. Her Saintly Writer blog features in the book of the Festival of Writing 2012, two of her
short stories were long-listed in the 2012 Fish Flash Fiction prize and others have been published in Number Eleven Magazine and the charity anthology, Stories for Homes.
Amanda also runs Retreat West, which provides writing retreats,
workshops and
short story competitions. She lives on a canal boat with her husband,
John, and a marmalade cat, Rusty, and they are roaming the UK having
adventures. When she’s not reading or
writing, she likes to bake and eat cakes then go walking to keep them
from
expanding her waistline too much.
Thanks so much for having me, JB! Everyone please buy the book to support Shelter's work - it's a great cause and there are lots of wonderful writers and stories to discover :-)
