On Emily's sixteenth birthday, she
discovers a letter that tells of her long lost father, who not only wants her
back but is also filthy rich! Tensions between her and her mother were never
very good, and with this letter, they escalate to where Emily moves out for the
summer to her new/old family - at their opulent summer home.
Find

families in "The Donahues".
About the Author
Ayelen Barrios Ruiz Pagano is a college
grad and will be receiving a B.A. with a double major in English and
Hispanic Studies in June of 2014. She is a lover of books and pop
culture. She has always favored contemporary fiction, however she enjoys
dabbling in other genres, especially dystopian fiction. She has been
writing since she was in elementary school, avoiding homework and other
responsibilities in favor of jotting down a story.
There
is nothing she enjoys more than a classic Disney movie, the Little
Mermaid being her favorite, and embarrassingly knows the lyrics to
pretty much all Disney princess movie songs, although she will only
perform them in the shower. She is fluent in both English and Spanish
and studied a bit of French during her time in University. She is a Jane
Austen fanatic and reads her works at least once a year. She is also
very much into movies and television shows, as she becomes readily
obsessed, especially if they are based on book series (PLL and the
Vampire Diaries, for example). In the future, she hopes to continue her
success, and find something she is passionate about doing.
