Review + Giveaway: Crashing Into Love by Melissa Foster

Crashing into Love by Melissa Foster
Series: Love in Bloom: The Bradens #12
Release Date: 17th March 2015
Publisher: World Literary Press
Genres: Contemporary Romance

Only one woman could hurt ultra-alpha bad boy Jake Braden.

Only one woman can heal him.

Fiona Steele has arrived…

Fiona Steele has a great career, strong friendships, and a loving family. To an outsider, her life appears happy and fulfilling. But the one thing that’s missing is true love, and the only man Fiona wants is the one she can’t have, sinfully handsome and seductively intense Jake Braden—the man whose heart she broke, which she has regretted ever since.
As an LA stuntman, Jake Braden’s at the top of his game. He’s hired for all the best movies, hooks up with the hottest women, and lives an unencumbered lifestyle where his needs come first—and where he doesn’t have to examine his life too closely. Except when he visits his family in his close-knit hometown of Trusty, Colorado, where he spends his time avoiding Fiona—the only woman who knows who he really is.
When Fiona’s best friend is hired to act in Jake’s movie, Fiona jumps at the chance to try to win him back. There’s no denying the white-hot attraction burning between them. With every encounter, Fiona hopes Jake can’t resist falling back into the love they once shared. But her well-orchestrated rendezvous doesn’t go over well with the brooding heartthrob. Living in the fast lane is perfect for a guy who’s buried his emotions so damn deep he’s not sure he can remember how to feel—and he’s not sure he ever wants to.

What another fab book by Melissa Foster. She seems to be the writer who keeps on giving, producing fantastic book after fantastic book. This book finishes Jake Braden's story and what a way to finish! This is a wonderfully sexy and passionate book and I loved it. Those Braden boys are oh so yum!

Fiona made the mistake of her life when she was younger and split from the scrumptious Jake who is now a successful stuntman (ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh). She is determined to get him back and who can blame her. He is sexy, brave and a bit of a rogue and a ladies man. Ever since Fiona 'broke' him all those years ago he has not committed to any kind of relationship and has a very unhealthy outlook on love in general. However, as his siblings are all falling in love and settling down, Jake is starting to feel a little bit lonely and left out. Once he connects with Fiona again, the playboy lifestyle and barriers around his heart he had worked so hard at putting up, now don't seem quite so attractive to him. Despite having a job where he literally takes his life in his hands on a daily basis, the thought of how Fiona affects him frightens him more than any stunt.

This is another sure fire Melissa Foster hit. A sad story at the heart of it exploring mistakes made in the past and being brave enough to try to put it right. Its about taking a chance on love despite the chance that your heart could get broken. Crashing Into Love just proves that sometimes true love never really dies - you just have to sometimes help someone to see that no matter how difficult they make it for you. Highly recommended. Can be read as a standalone but why would you not want to read the entire series? Are you nuts?
