REVERED REVILED REMARKABLE
The
victim of an unspeakable crime, an infant rises to become a new type of
superhero. Unlike any that have come
before him, he is not a fanciful creation of animators, he is real.
So
begins the saga of Robert James Austin, the greatest genius in human
history. But where did his extraordinary
intelligence come from?
As
agents of corporate greed vie with rabid anti-Western radicals to destroy him,
an obsessive government leader launches a bizarre covert mission to exploit his
intellect. Yet Austin’s greatest fear is
not of this world.
Aided
by two exceptional women, one of whom will become his unlikely lover, Austin
struggles against abandonment and betrayal.
But the forces that oppose him are more powerful than even he can
understand.
About the Author
William R. Leibowitz has been practicing entertainment/media law in New
York City for a number of years. He has
represented numerous renown recording artists, songwriters, producers and many
of the leading record companies, talent managers, merchandisers and other
notable entertainment businesses. At one
point, he was the Chief Operating Officer/General Counsel for the Sanctuary
Group of Companies, a U.K. public company that was the largest ‘indie’ music
company in the world (prior to its acquisition by the Universal Music
Group).
William has a Bachelor of Science degree from New York University (magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa) and a
law degree from Columbia University. He
lives in the village of Quogue, New York with his wife, Alexandria, and dog,
George.
William wrote Miracle Man
because of its humanistic and spiritual messages and because he feels that in
our current times – when meritless celebrity has eclipsed accomplishment and
the only heroes are those based on comic books, the world needs a real hero
–and that, of course, is Robert James Austin, the protagonist in Miracle Man.
MIRACLE MAN REVIEWS
Winner—Best Thriller 2014 ---National Pacific Book
Awards
“To call Miracle
Man a 'medical thriller' or a 'political story' would be to do it an
injustice. Miracle Man is about miracles, motivations, ethics and
morals, and the influence of special interests in the work of genius minds.
It's about one 'super' boy's devotion to solving some of medicine's greatest
mysteries against forces that would divert these great talents to something
darker; and it's ultimately about the ability to withstand moral and ethical
temptations against all odds.
Readers are treated to a plot with many twists and
turns: it holds intrigue, describes compulsions and diversions, shows how a
genius battles dark forces within and outside of himself, and generally paints
a powerful picture of a search for privacy, as much as meaning.
And so a gripping novel of psychological tension
becomes much more than your usual 'medical thriller', and is a pick for any who
want high octane action and emotionally-charged reading right up to an
unexpected, gripping conclusion.”

RATING: DESTINED TO BE A BEST SELLER
“Once in a while, I come across a book that is just
one of the most amazingly written works I have had the pleasure to review. Miracle
Man is one of those books. Mr.
Leibowitz’ book kept me glued to its pages.
Every chapter was a joy to read and the trials and tribulations the main
character “Bobby Austin” encountered were dramatically presented. The book was well researched and written with
a knowledgeable pen. I have to admit,
the author would have had me convinced that this was a biography about a genius
of a man, had I not known it was a fiction book. This is a magnificent story. Miracle
Man by William R. Leibowitz is destined to be a best seller. I gave it one of my very rare A+
ratings. It had everything that one
could ask for in a good novel. The book
is also very “General Audience” in the fact that the author manages to write a
dramatically superior novel, without the use of profanity. Give this book a
read”. ….William Phenn for

of 5.0 STARS: LOVED THE STORY AND THE
CHARACTERS!!! GREAT READ!!!
“Miracle
Man is a
heartbreaking, inspirational and beautifully written story. I was absolutely consumed by this story the
minute I started reading. I found all
the characters to be very well written, consistent, organized and
enjoyable. Robert James Austin (“Bobby”) is one of the best
characters I have ever read. He is
simple and genuine. He sacrifices his
life for the betterment of mankind, and with it comes so many moments of
heartbreak, you just want to shake him and hold him, and as the reader you can
feel the other characters in his life who want to do the same. He is such a beautiful character. I don’t want to say more, to avoid spoilers,
but this is an incredible book. I loved
the story and I loved the characters. I
give Miracle Man 5 Stars.” … Courtney Chebat

“I do a lot of reading—so I am constantly looking
for something new to get excited about.
I felt compelled to write this book review since I have been a little
frustrated lately with the efforts of the big name fiction writers you all know
and I am quite excited by the idea of a new favorite author to follow for a
while. I recently stumbled upon Miracle Man by William R.
Leibowitz. In short –great main
character, great story line, very enjoyable writing style that makes the book
flow quickly, believable plot, etc. –All the things you hope for in a great
book. Miracle Man appears to be the author’s first effort –and I
certainly hope it is not his last. I
loved everything about this book. The
author does a really great job of developing the story and all the characters
involved. The main character (Robert
James Austin) is a super genius using his powers for the forces of good in the
world who has to deal with some powerful forces conspiring against him
(internal and external)—morality (in the non-religious sense), human nature (good
and bad), corporate ethics (mostly bad)—these are all covered within a very
smartly written storyline surrounding a truly great character. The author almost has me believing that he is
some form of genius himself… I look forward to Mr. Leibowitz’ next offering. I have placed Miracle Man on the very short list of books that I consider to be
really great fiction. Add it to your
reading list immediately and you will not regret it. I recommend it highly.” P. Bainlardi/Amazon Reviews

begin to read if you have early appointments!’

WHAT
MAKES A STORY WELL WRITTEN?
“I highly recommend Miracle Man –it’s compelling. The story flows and has enough
twists and changes to always keep you entertained. The novel’s characters are unique and
interesting. The book’s main character
and the hero is Robert “Bobby” Austin. Bobby is truly a different type of hero. He has all the wonderful ingredients that
make a person love and admire the hero.
Tragedy after tragedy weighs him down, he continues to persevere and
triumph, and ultimately is set on a path of confrontation. Please don’t misunderstand me --Leibowitz has
created a character that is both a hero and an anti-hero and does not fit into
a pattern or formula. The character
never gets stale and predictable. While
our hero is unique, I believe that Mr. Leibowitz did not let us down with the
story’s antagonists. The story has
several villains, each posing serious threats to Bobby or his loved ones. But it is the unique foe that Robert Austin
ultimately pits himself against that makes this book. This foe changes Bobby,
affects the people around him, and continues to drive the hero, the story and
the reader. I don’t want to be a spoiler
so I will have to leave it at this.
Well written?
What makes a story well written?
Heroes you cheer for, characters that you empathize with, and villains
that you can loathe. All of that plus
–plot and style. Miracle Man presents all this and more. It is a very well written book that made me
sympathize greatly with the hero and the people in his life. I cheered him on, wished great things for
him, and great harm to his enemies.
Give Miracle Man a read.”

“I read this book in one sitting, and I have to say
it’s one of the better books I’ve read in a very long time. I generally read between four and six works
of fiction every week, and for me to say this is one of my favorites is really
saying a lot. All I can say is that you
need to read Miracle Man. At the end of the book, it seemed to me that
there could quite possibly be a very exciting sequel, maybe even the
possibility of a series. I hope there is
at least one more in the works –I’ll read it nonstop when it comes out. Buy this book –you will definitely not be
disappointed.” …Mark Mavrantonis/Amazon

FASCINATING,
THRILLING AND REALISTIC!
“This book sure has an opening. I’ll definitely say that. The prologue is mysterious, interesting and
really makes you want more right away.
The author has the hook down pat.
I don’t want to spoil it. I see a
bunch of reviewers telling you what the beginning is, but it’s better that you
just read and find out, because I didn’t expect what it was from the
opening! It kept me reading, and I think
it’ll keep you reading as well.
This book’s got a great storyline. I thought the author really took the time to
flesh Bobby out, and really give us a driving force for him. He’s a great character, and with great
people, there’s always someone trying to manipulate them. That’s exactly the story here. It’s perfect.
The writing is solid, the story is refreshing and it’s got a strong main
character. Technically speaking, the
author has written a great novel. It flows, it draws you in, and it finishes
strong.
As for plot, you’ve got a genius character, who we
follow through his life, and the great thing is that this book isn’t over
anyone’s head. It’s a read for every
person who likes thrillers and science.
It’s a thriller, not just in the hidden agendas and motives but also on
a personal level, because you really start to care about Bobby, and want to see
Bobby happy and succeeding in what he chooses.
It really pulls you in, you just start to feel it.” … Sunshine and Mountains Book Review Blog
