from his vision for the company. Failure is simply not an option.
As Tess and Jim start working
together, both have their reasons for wanting to ignore the sexual chemistry
that fires between them. But chemistry, like most things in the world of
science, isn’t always easy to control.
Search for the Truth is an extremely enjoyable read. I was instantly drawn to the character of Tess who is desperately searching for the truth around her mother's death. Suspicious that there is a link between her mother's heart attack and a new trial drug developed by a big drugs company, Helix Tess goes undercover to investigate. Landing herself a job at the company she begins investigating in earnest. However, her good intentions are hindered by the extremely gorgeous president of research Jim Knight. Kathryn Freeman has developed an alpha male with feelings and a heart that has been broken. His resolve not to get involved with a member of staff again is weakened by the beautiful Tess.
This is an exciting read and as Tess begins to unravel more information about Helix and its practices can she do the right thing or will her heart rule her head? Kathryn Freeman's knowledge of the pharmaceutical world is evident throughout this book and the information about this world is delivered in an interesting way that is not overpowering. There is more than one type of chemistry going on in the lab though. The sexual chemistry and passion between Tess and Jim sparks off the page and sweeps the reader along with the intrigue and suspense. A great read!!!
