I was thrilled to be given the opportunity to read Revenge of a Chalet Girl. Whilst I hadn't read any of the other books in the series, I found that this book could be read as a stand alone book and having not read the previous books did not in any way detract from my enjoyment of this story. I didn't find myself confused about the back story or the characters. This book is the 3rd installment in the series and centres around Amy Wright.

Amy is a chalet girl in the Swiss ski resort of Verbier. Amy seems to be getting her life back on track after a broken heart turned her world upside down. However, in the run up to Christmas a stag party is booked into the chalet and the bottom almost drops out of Amy's world once more when she spots a familiar name on the guest list. Should Amy seek revenge or should she run away? Amy encounters so many complications through the course of the book that making a decision either way isn't easy!

This book is wonderfully easy to read with interesting characters and a fab storyline. It also has its fair share of oh la la moments that are hot enough to turn snow into slush! Lorraine Wilson's very fluid writing style ensured that I was hooked enough to not be able to put the book down and ended up reading it over the course of a day. Not a pick of housework was done that day. Instead, I day dreamed about romance on the snowy pistes and melting snow with the steamy unresolved sexual tension that was evident throughout the story.A breathtaking location, snow, romance and oh la la la make a perfect combination. A great book! Highly recommend and perfect reading in time for the Winter Olympics!

*The 4th installment in the series - Secret Crush of a Chalet Girl will be released on 27th February but you can pre-order the book now!
